Creation manuscript, Yue Mingyue, 2021

This artwork is about female and labor of the times. It’s said that women usually do weaving, but also do farm work for farming busy time. Yue's work continues the "weaving" work, using hand embroidery and digital embroidery to complete embroidery on the yarn. The works present elements such as "women", "wheat", "farming", "weaving" and "wormhole". The vertical direction of the work shows the passage of time, and the horizontal direction displays the extension of space. "Rosen Bridge" serves as a passage in the work, connect-ing female workers of the two eras. The female workers in the picture take charge of two tasks farming and weaving. Yue hopes her work can inspire people to think about the position of women in different eras and reflect the coincidence of traditional and modern labor.
